Art & Community
Some things need an image before they have words.
A color you keep reaching for. A shape that turns up again. An image that stays with you long after you’ve put the brush down. I’m interested in what we notice when we make something before we know what it means.

Ways to explore
IMAGES & SYMBOLS
Mandalas & Reflection
Working with a circle, color, or recurring image can offer a starting point for reflection. We follow your associations and your experience, with no single correct interpretation.
COLOR & TEXTURE
Collage & Mixed Media
Images, color, texture, and found materials can give form to experiences that are hard to explain. Curiosity matters more than making a polished piece.
CREATIVE PRACTICE
Visual Journaling
A page can hold a feeling before you know what to call it. Drawing, writing, and personal imagery offer ways to notice what is happening inside, without needing to make something for an audience.

Gatherings
Art and the unconscious
Art is part of how I pay attention. Images, dreams, and symbols can offer a way into experiences that are difficult to explain. We can be curious about what appears without deciding that every image has one correct meaning.
When it supports your goals, creative work can be part of a therapy session. We talk together about what fits. Conversation is always an option.
Art workshops, classes, and community gatherings are educational and creative experiences and are separate from psychotherapy. Participation does not establish a therapist-client relationship.
Curiosity starts here.
