Therapy for the patterns you’re ready to understand.
You may know exactly what you do and still find yourself doing it again. You overthink the conversation. Say yes when you mean no. Reach harder when someone pulls away—or disappear when someone gets close.
In therapy, we get curious about how those responses developed and practice what might become possible now. I work with adults and couples in Germantown, Nashville, and online with clients located in Tennessee.
Individual Therapy
I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, grief, attachment wounds, life transitions, and questions of self-worth. Sometimes the concern is clear. Sometimes you feel stuck in a story about yourself that no longer fits.
Much of my work explores family patterns that keep showing up in adult relationships: people-pleasing, compulsive caretaking, difficulty trusting your own needs, and the effects of growing up around addiction. We look at these experiences in the context of your family, relationships, and culture, and practice choices that make more room for you.
I also work with artists, musicians, and creative professionals navigating the pressure to produce, creative blocks, and questions of identity. Images, metaphor, and creative expression can be part of the work when they fit your goals. You don’t have to be an artist or make art to work with me.
Relationship Therapy
I work with adults individually and with couples navigating connection, conflict, trust, and change. There’s room to explore what your relationship means to you and what you want it to become.
A question becomes criticism. An explanation sounds like an excuse. One of you pushes for an answer; the other goes quiet. Before long, you’re having the same fight in different words.
I help couples understand the cycle, hear the feelings and needs beneath it, and practice responding with greater honesty and responsibility.
After betrayal
Betrayal can change how you understand your relationship and your own history. I make room for the hurt, questions, and uncertainty without rushing you toward forgiveness or a predetermined outcome. Our work focuses on safety, accountability, and clearer choices about what comes next.
Making a life from the inside out.
I want to understand both what brings you relief now and what keeps the pain returning. My approach is relational, experiential, and trauma-informed. We pay attention to what happens between us, what you notice in your body, and how past experiences may shape present responses.
We build enough trust and steadiness to approach difficult feelings, explore the needs beneath them, and practice different responses you can use outside the room. We adjust the pace together.
My work draws on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Restoration Therapy, alongside attachment-focused, somatic, and IFS-informed approaches. Creativity, imagery, and EMDR-informed work may be included when appropriate to your treatment.
Art is an option, never an assignment. You do not need to know how to draw to work with me.
